Erectile Dysfunction, or ED, is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection that is sufficient for sexual intercourse.1 ED is the most common sexual disorder or sexual health issue among men. In fact, approximately 150 million men worldwide have some form of ED (sometimes called impotence).2
Erectile Dysfunction is a common condition. It can be progressive.1
Thanks to medical and social research, we now have a good understanding of ED and its impact on men and women. Effective treatments are now available.
Remember, it's important that you discuss your concerns with your doctor or medical professional, as:
- 95 percent of Erectile Dysfunction cases can be treated3
- It is suggested that up to 80 percent of all ED cases may be due to physical causes4
- ED can be an early predictor of an underlying condition, such as heart disease or diabetes, where early detection and treatment are important5
